Pinto Practice

Pinto Practice is a reading intervention and enrichment program for Junipero Serra students enrolled in grades 1-5 that takes place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:00 PM to 2:35 PM.  

 

Students read independently or in small groups with the help of a reading program called Accelerated Reader to strengthen their reading and comprehension skills.

 

Afterwards, they take quizzes at school on what they have read, earning points that can be used to redeem various prizes such as t-shirts and pizza lunches.
